2) The internet
It's not enough to run your business solely offline. You have to incorporate internet marketing into the mix so that you can stay on top of the marketplace and gain an edge over your competitors. You see most of your competitors aren't thinking about using the internet to capture new customers and clients. They think that the internet as a whole is a passing fad and it won't be long until it becomes deceased. But I disagree with this mindset.

Internet marketing should be on the forefront of marketing your business. Even if you don't know anything about marketing on the internet, there's a quick way that you can start seeing results immediately in your business. The method I'm talking about is pay per click (PPC) advertising.

There are currently 2 major players in the internet marketing world. They are "Google Adwords", and "MSN Adcenter". Both can deliver excellent results for you, and i'm sure that they can work for you also. The key to making PPC work is to select the right keywords.

Pay per click works like this: You put up an ad with Adwords or MSN Adcenter, and your ad shows up in the search engine results according to the term that a prospect types in. Whenever a prospect clicks on your ad, you will be charged a fee. How much will you be charged? Well the minimum right now on both of these sites are 10 cents. So this is a very low cost and effective way to bring new customers and clients into your business.
